We’re proud to share the story of our customer, Balfour Farm, in Pittsfield, ME. From 12 fluffy chicks in 1998 to the thriving organic dairy and creamery today, Doug and Heather Donahue of Balfour Farm have built it from the ground up. All of their milk is processed right on the farm into a variety of fresh and aged cheeses, with pigs, hens, and now salami adding to their growing offerings.
Handling everything from feed to hay to manure, reliability is critical. That’s why the Donahues count on John Deere equipment and the support of United Ag & Turf to keep their farm running strong.
