Lawn Maintenance

1 Series tractors are compatible with John Deere’s Drive-Over AutoConnect™ Mid-Mount Mower Deck, which can easily be attached in only minutes. Additionally, a Loader can be attached to conveniently move dirt, gravel or other materials around the lawn.

Clearing Snow

Save time and effort by ditching the snow shovel and attach a 47-inch snow blower to your 1 Series. If you’re not ready to invest in a blower, another popular option is to use a front blade or loader to push the snow off your lot.

Landscaping

Attach a 270B Backhoe implement for landscaping or digging with extra control and torque, with a lift capacity of up to 256 lbs.

Gardening

Whether tilling, seeding or fertilizing, John Deere provides several options to help step up your gardening game. Some fan-favorite implements are the Standard-Duty Tiller, the Core Aerator and the Spin Spreader.

Leveling Your Driveway or Lot

Use a land plane, box scraper or front blade to easily level your gravel driveway or smooth over surfaces.

Which One’s Right for You

Let’s Compare

While the 1023E and 1025R share many similarities, we want to highlight a few key differences. If you’re shopping on a tight budget, the 1023E may be the right choice for you – but don’t think that means your’e shopping at a lower quality! With 21.5 horsepower, this machine is powerful enough to take care of any home or landscaping tasks. The 1025R has a little more horsepower, and you’ll notice that in its ability to get up and go. Additionally, the 1025R offers cruise control, which may be beneficial on larger properties where you’ll be spending more time behind the wheel.
